How much does it cost to hire your duo?

The Dahlia Flute Duo believes that high quality performances should be affordable. We work with our clients to determine fees appropriate for their budgets.
Sample Price Ranges:
Small, Private Event (for example, a senior citizen facility) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $100-$200/hr.

Why do your rates vary?

Rates may vary for many reasons, including but not limited to:

– travel time & distance
– augmentation of the ensemble (for example, adding guitar)
– the total performance time
– the size of the event
– admission or cover charges at venue

Is it possible to request a piece or song if it is not on your list?

Of course! We frequently arrange special requests.

Would you collaborate with other instrumentalists or vocalists at a client's request?

Yes. Our duo has a wonderful resource of musical colleagues at the Peabody Institute. However, the amount charged will be higher than the sample rates listed above. These rates will be determined on an individual basis.

Is it possible to hear you play before deciding to hire you for an event or performance?

       Yes, and there are many options for this.

        - Listen to our sound clips!

        - You may attend any of our performances that are open to the public. Feel free to talk with us after the
               performance, as well!

     - We give free consultations for weddings and private parties where we meet the client in person, play a few pieces,                and discuss any requests and questions.

        - If setting up a personal appointment is not possible, we can mail a CD or e-mail MP3 files.
